Bare copper wire, both the surface and the inside are copper metal, which used to be yellow on the outside, and the color is darker and lighter due to the copper purity. In terms of physical properties, the bare copper wire is soft and has excellent electrical conductivity.
The process of tinned copper wire is slightly more complicated than that of bare copper wire. After the pure copper rod is drawn into a wire, a thin layer of tin is plated on the surface of the copper wire by a hot tinning process to form a tinned copper wire. This thread has a silver appearance because tin is a silver metal. The wire quality is relatively soft, and the electrical conductivity is good. Compared with the bare copper wire, its corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance are stronger, which can greatly extend the service life of the weak current cable.
